A Passion for Paddling and the Outdoors Do you live and breathe paddlesport? If the water calls to you and you believe in the power of the outdoors to empower, inspire, and challenge, we need your passion. Your enthusiasm will light the way for others especially women and girls who are ready to take their first strokes on the water.

Advocacy for Women in Sport:

Are you an advocate for gender equality in sport? Do you believe that women and girls deserve equal access to the joys and benefits of paddling? As an ambassador, you’ll break down barriers, inspire change, and make paddlesport more accessible and inclusive for all.

Strong Communication and Outreach Skills You’ll need to be a storyteller and a connector, whether through social media, public speaking, or grassroots outreach. You’ll inspire others with your voice, share the incredible stories of #ShePaddles Cymru, and encourage women everywhere to join the movement.

A Role Model and Mentor:

 This isn’t just about you it's about the women and girls who will look up to you. As an ambassador, you’ll guide, mentor, and support others as they find their confidence on the water. You’ll be the face of inspiration, showing them what’s possible when they believe in themselves.

Community Engagement Are you already involved in your local paddling community or outdoor space? We’re looking for someone who’s excited to grow and engage with paddlers in their local areas whether through clubs, meetups, or special events.

Environmental Stewardship:

Paddlesport and nature are inseparable. We need someone who not only loves the water but is committed to preserving it. As an ambassador, you’ll promote sustainability, respect for our waterways, and environmental awareness, helping us protect the places we paddle for generations to come.

Inclusivity and Diversity:

We believe that paddlesport should be for everyone, no matter their background, ability, or experience. If you’re passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive space where ALL women and girls can thrive, you’re exactly who we need.

Social Media Visionary:

Are you a social media maven who knows how to create buzz and tell stories that inspire? You’ll help us amplify the #ShePaddles message, engage with our community, and spread the word about exciting events and success stories. Facebook, Instagram, and your creativity are your tools for making change.

Event and Funding Innovator:

Do you have a knack for event planning, or experience in securing funding to bring great ideas to life? We need someone who can develop exciting new events and help us grow the programme with fresh ideas and strategic funding opportunities. Your energy will help propel us forward!

Coach/Leader:

Do you love teaching, mentoring, and leading by example? We’re looking for someone to help shape new paddling sessions, mentor other coaches, and create a mentorship programme that nurtures the next generation of female instructors and coaches. Your leadership will inspire confidence in others!

Environmental and Sustainability Advocate If you’re passionate about the planet and want to make a tangible difference in protecting Welsh waterways, this role is for you. Help us raise awareness and take action to ensure that paddlesport remains a sustainable and environmentally-friendly activity for years to come.
