The Eagle House Vision

To meet the special needs of the more disadvantaged young people in our society, particularly those already involved with or at risk of committing crime, those who have been in the care system and those who have suffered through abuse. To create opportunities, for a positive change in the direction of young people’s goals and ambitions through and alongside the development of their social and personal life skills. To work alongside young people who have failed elsewhere; those with limited life chances and young people who others have been unable to help.

Based on the water’s edge of the beautiful and historic Amlwch Port in Anglesey, North Wales, Eila has spent the last 12 years, as a professional coach and leader, in the wildlife rich tidal waters surrounding the stunning coast of Anglesey. An experienced and fully qualified international sea kayak leader, coach and National Trainer with an exemplary safety record. Our base is right on the harbour’s edge from where we can explore the NE coast. Perfectly located whether you seek some sheltered water paddling or the more adrenalin pumping tidal races. It’s all on our doorstep.

Our sea kayaking skills courses will expand your horizons and enhance your freedom of the ocean. We’ll develop your core skills in rock gardens, tide races and surf zones, and build your tactics, planning and safety skills to take your sea kayaking forward with confidence.

We are a family orientated and friendly club located at the picturesque Thurlby Lake near Witham St Hughs. Our emphasis is on getting you out on the water in whatever form be it canoeing, kayaking or standup paddle boarding. 

You will always find an enthusiastic and friendly club member at the lake along with plenty of hire kit available to get you started. No matter what your skill level when you first visit us, we will help you advance in any way we can. 

After a 100 year hiatus, LiveFree Adventures has brought Rowboat Hire Back to Carmarthenshire. Assemble your crew of loved ones and set off on a captivating expedition across the Swiss Valleys tranquil waters. Our spacious 16ft skiff rowboats, are perfectly designed to comfortably accommodate groups of up to four adults, making them ideal for family outings, friend gatherings, or romantic escapes.

Our purpose built Activity Centre specialises in tuition and equipment hire. You may also bring your own kit and pay to launch your craft. Our season runs from March to end October to protect our overwintering birds.

We offer canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding and katakanuing, as well as sailing, windsurfing, pedal boarding, archery, axe throwing, laser clay shooting and orienteering. Conditions are perfect with clean water and no currents or tides. Here you will find changing rooms with hot showers and a place to refuel and recharge in our Visitor Centre café just along the path.

We do pretty much anything in the outdoors, and if we haven’t done it, we’re up for giving it a go!  Our instructors have decades of experience and really enjoy doing their job which is taking you into the great outdoors – Kayaking, Canoeing, Climbing, Coasteering, River Swimming, Hill Walking…. the list is endless! Llanion Cove is set within a picturesque ancient woodland area on the banks of the river Cleddau with trails for walking. The Cove is a balconied waterfront cafe, restaurant and bar, a large venue with panoramic views of the Cleddau estuary.

Llanion Adventures offers kayaking, sailing, power boating and many other water based activities.

Within the grounds there is an indoor climbing wall suitable for both novice and experienced climber alike this can be rented with a qualified instructor and is home to local climbing clubs. There is also an enclosed five a side/ basketball court.

Llanion Cove also has self-catering accommodation to sleep 80 people.

Llys-y-frân is set in a beautiful location, in the foothills of the Preseli Mountains.

Family Friendly Little Boating Adventures in Pembrokeshire Wales.
